For some men, vasectomy is a cost saving and permanent birth control. Unwanted pregnancy and cost of condom can be substantial at a long run. Unfortunately, no surgical procedure is without risk. A vasectomy can affect a small percentage of men both psychologically and physiologically resulting in various erectile and erection dysfunctions.
Side effects of vasectomy included:
During the vasectomy, the vasa deferentia of a man are severed, tied, and sealed in a manner such to prevent sperm from entering into the seminal stream. After the procedure, the scarring from the surgery or obstruction at some part of the epididymis can cause chronic pain resulted in impotence or premature ejaculation during sexual intercourse. Some men may suffer performance anxiety due to adjustment difficulties and emotional stress after a vasectomy. [1]
